For me, the focus of building multiple sites online is on being able to make massive changes quickly with minimal actions required. To do this requires having the right mindset, planning, organization, systems, tools and network in place to quickly adapt whenever there is a sudden change in circumstances, which as we know, happens all the time on the internet.

One really small example …

Recently, one of the affiliate products I was promoting on several sites closed down. Because I use a redirect link embedded in a rotating banner ad tool for all of my banner ads and control everything from central admin panels, I was able to quickly change the link’s destination to point to the sales page of a similar product, then change the ad copy and image in the rotating ad tool.

In minutes, I replaced an entire obsolete affiliate campaign with a new one. Had I added the ad links manually to each site where it was being promoted, it would have been a nightmare. I learned this from a previous similar experience where I had to go through the nightmare.

With the PPC Kahuna strategy, Jason shows how to organize things so that we can actually split test different products, even if we start out building an entire campaign for one particular product. This makes everything really “modular” and easy to change things around if a particular product, campaign or even an entire strategy goes somewhere completely unexpected.

In my point of view, therefore, nothing is wasted. It’s going to take me about a week to get this one particular campaign I’m working on fully set up because I’m still learning how all of it works. Once the site is built, if the first product doesn’t sell enough to be profitable, I’ll substitute it with a different product. If no products in this niche market work profitably for PPC, I’ll have an SEO optimized site which I can leave running. As long as I make one sale a year, the site will pay for itself.

Ultimately, I’ll have built a nice and professional looking, niche-specific site on a keyword rich domain and I can always “flip” it, or let the “virtual real estate” mature and sell it later on

Heck … I might even sell the whole site to the owner of the affiliate product I’m promoting as a lead generation page for their own business
